We are seeking a motivated individual to contribute to meaningful change and advance our sustainability efforts within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector. If you are enthusiastic about developing and supporting practical solutions, and interested in improving processes for better sustainability outcomes, we would be glad to hear from you.
As a member of our Sustainability Team, you’ll collaborate with five dedicated colleagues to deliver impactful sustainability initiatives. You’ll play an essential role in implementing projects that span five diverse business segments that sell food, personal care, liquor, beauty, and electronic products.
Our sustainability strategy is centered on key priorities such as combating climate change, advancing sustainable distribution, reducing packaging and waste, promoting responsible sourcing and building a sustainable product portfolio.
This is what you can expect of the role:
- Gather, analyse, review and report on sustainability data
- Initiate, track progress of and support team members in sustainability initiatives multiple business segments and corporate functions
- Provide input for internal and external communication messaging, including the annual report
- Stay up to date and support compliance efforts regarding evolving legislative requirements
- Provide input for further refinement of the sustainability strategy and reporting, update policies and conduct sustainability risk assessments
- Research industry best practices and share key developments to inspire and inform relevant teams
- Support in awareness creation to embed sustainability thinking into everyday business decisions

With a structured, systems-thinking approach, you excel at problem-solving and bring a collaborative, team-oriented spirit to your work. You are also not afraid to build relationships with colleagues outside the team to further the sustainability projects.
You:
- Hold a bachelor degree or Master's degree in sustainability, economics, international affairs, engineering, or a related field
- Bring at least 2-3 years of professional experience as a sustainability coordinator, ESG reporter, or in a similar capacity, ideally including 1–2 years in consulting
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, work in a structured manner and have a keen eye for detail
- Are proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Possess a solid understanding of business operations and financial implications, enabling you to critically assess and enhance projects and business cases
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English; proficiency in Dutch is considered an asset
