For an International Distributor working in more than 30 countries in Europe and Africa we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager for the Baltic countries sales area, office based in Vilnius or home office based in the Baltic countries. You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients and nutraceuticals in different branches of the food industry.

Experience with Starches and dairy proteins is extremely important to us.

  1. Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potential.
  2. Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers.
  3. Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions.
  4. Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen.
  5. Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager.
  6. Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager.

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Technology (or similar).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the food industry (production/sales) preferred.
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills, high willingness to travel.
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking.
  • Very good knowledge of English, local languages and Russian (fluent in spoken and written).
