HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTThe Territory Sales Manager - Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia position is a key role within Continental ContiTech. This role is responsible for developing new business and increasing share of market position in a specified geographical territory, utilizing Continental’s Authorized Distributor Network in the industrial sector.
Principle duties & responsibilities include:
- Identify and cultivate new business partnerships with existing and new customers (distributors and end-users).
- Promote and sell engineered products, programs & services to end users.
- Train distributors and end-users on new products and applications.
- Develop and implement a plan to meet with customers to service existing accounts, and secure new business.
- Participate in industry trade shows.
- Use business and information technology tools to manage territory activities.
- Maintain working knowledge of current industry standards.
- Inspect conveyor systems, plant equipment, and manufacturing environment to survey equipment.
- Utilize Salesforce.com, Business Funnel, Territory Share Management and data tools to drive financial performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration and 2 years or relevant professional experience, or 4+ years of sales experience without a degree.
- Competent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience working in an industrial setting.
- Experience conducting presentations and customer meetings.
- Experience training customers and end users.
- Ability to use/learn CRM systems.
- Open to overnight travel
- Valid driver’s license
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must reside within the territory (PA or WV).
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time with overnight stays.
