Job Details

As the Territory Manager, you will work with customers of all sizes to meet financial sales goals. This includes maintaining and growing relationships with distributors, dealers, and construction professionals.

With support from the inside sales and marketing team, you will implement promotions, programs, and processes.

Ideal candidate: Must have outside sales experience within the decking or building materials space. Must be extremely autonomous, enjoy public speaking and product demonstrations for customers, and available to travel overnight.

Remote position based in the Denver, CO area. Expect up to 50% overnight travel per month. Territory covers North of I-70 and Wyoming.

Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000/year + commission based on territory performance.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Achieving sales, margin, and expense budgets (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  3. Improving KPIs: Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, Product Positions, and Builder Share.
  4. Acquiring and retaining key dealers and users.
  5. Optimizing local distribution to grow market share.
  6. Developing an annual business plan with the Regional Manager, exceeding territory financial budgets.
  7. Conducting semi-annual Joint Business Planning Meetings with the RM and local distributors.
  8. Effectively utilizing CRM and the company's sales process.
  9. Making effective presentations (F2F, Go To Meeting, etc.) to small and large groups.
  10. Gathering and reporting competitive programs, promotions, and tactics to sales and marketing management.
  11. Adhering to company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid State-issued Driver's license
  • 4+ years of outside sales experience
  • Must live within the core geography
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Enjoys public speaking and demonstrating products to groups of all sizes.

  • Professional sales training program or certificate
  • CRM experience
