As the Territory Manager, you will work with customers to achieve financial sales goals. Maintain and grow relationships with distributors, dealers, and construction professionals. Implement promotions, programs, and processes with support from the inside sales and marketing team.
Ideal Candidate: Experience in decking or building materials, outside sales, highly autonomous, able to travel overnight approximately 50% a month.
Remote Position: San Francisco Bay Area (Territory covers San Jose to Santa Rosa/Healdsburg and the I-680 corridor). Mileage reimbursement, laptop, and cell phone provided.
Compensation: Base salary range $81,000 - $110,000 plus commission.
Responsibilities:
- Sales, Margin, and Expense budget achievement (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- KPI performance improvement (Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, Product Positions, Builder Share)
- Key Dealers and Users acquisition and retention
- Optimize local Distribution to grow Market Share
- Develop annual business plan with Regional Manager
- Conduct semi-annual Joint Business Planning Meetings with RM and local Distributors
- Effectively utilize CRM and Sales Process
- Presentations (F2F, Go To Meeting) to small and large groups
- Gather and remit competitive programs, promotions, and tactics to Sales & Marketing
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics
Qualifications:
- Valid State-issued Driver's License
- 4+ years of outside sales experience
- Live within core geography
- Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Public speaking and product demonstration skills
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Building Industry experience
- Professional sales training or certificate
- CRM experience
Salary: $81,000 - $110,000 base salary, plus commission.
