As a Territory Manager for our Fiberon decking brand, you will work with customers of all sizes to meet sales goals, maintaining and growing relationships with Distributors, Dealers, and construction professionals. You'll implement promotions and programs with support from the inside sales and marketing team.
Ideal Candidate: Decking or building materials experience, outside sales experience, autonomy, ability to travel overnight approximately 8-10 times per month.
Remote position based in the North Bay, California. Territory covers Northern California north of Santa Rosa and to the Southwestern Oregon Coast.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, margin, and expense budgets.
- Improve KPIs: Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, Product Positions, Builder Share.
- Acquire and retain key dealers and users.
- Optimize local distribution to grow market share.
- Develop an annual business plan with the Regional Manager, exceeding territory financial budgets.
- Conduct semi-annual Joint Business Planning Meetings with RM and local distributors.
- Effectively use CRM and the company's sales process.
- Deliver effective presentations (F2F, GTM) to various group sizes.
- Gather and report competitive programs, promotions, and tactics.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
Basic Qualifications:
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- 4+ years of outside sales experience (preferably in millwork or building materials)
- Live within the core geography
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Enjoy public speaking and demonstrating products to groups
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Professional sales training
- CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot)
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
Salary: $81,000 - $113,000 USD
