The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, generating high-quality leads, and setting up meetings for our sales team. You’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint in the US market by connecting with key decision-makers in the eCommerce industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Goal: Your main objective is to generate high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) that align with PromptCloud’s ideal customer profile, driving new business opportunities.
- Outreach – Identify, research, and engage potential clients via email, cold calling, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Lead Qualification – Assess potential customers’ pain points, needs, and interest in our solutions.
- Sales Development – Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives, ensuring a strong handover.
- Collaboration – Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation efforts and refine outreach strategies.
- CRM Management – Maintain accurate records of outreach, engagement, and pipeline activity in HubSpot.
What You Bring
- 2-4 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales role, preferably in a SaaS/ startup environment.
- Experience working in the US market – understanding of buyer behavior and sales cycles in North America.
- Background in eCommerce or data solutions preferred – familiarity with eCommerce business model, platforms, analytics tools, or related technologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages. This would involve significant cold calling.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal management.
- Experience using sales engagement tools, AI tools exposure & enablement readiness.
