Role Overview: The Vendor/Partner Sales Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for developing and selling partnerships with vendors in the event industry. This pivotal position involves creating mutually beneficial relationships, connecting vendors to music and event creators, and driving the establishment of a robust vendor/partner marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and scale a vendor/partner marketplace.
- Identify, prospect, and secure partnerships with vendors.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions integrating vendor offerings.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Educate vendors on partnering benefits and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the event industry.
- Strong understanding of the event industry.
- Demonstrated success in business development and strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Analytical mindset with ability to use data for informed decisions.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
