Full-Time Vice President, Business Development

Position Overview

• Spearhead strategic growth initiatives for Sirtex Medical, focusing on expanding market share and portfolio innovation in oncology and interventional radiology.
• Lead the formulation and implementation of Sirtex’s global business development strategy to expand portfolio innovation and market reach.
• Forge and manage high-impact partnerships, including joint ventures, licensing agreements, and acquisitions.
• Drive deep analysis of global oncology and medical device markets.
• Oversee the full cycle of business development transactions, including opportunity sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and contract negotiation.
• Deliver compelling business cases and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Experience in medical devices/medtech is required.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development or strategic partnerships within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
