Job Details
The VP will build, manage and lead a direct sales division at Xplor Pay which includes Regional Sales Directors, District Managers and Account Executives. The Vice President of Sales will be tasked with achieving and surpassing team sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Importantly, as Xplor Pay is in a very high growth mode, the VP will need to heavily and consistently recruit to build and continue to expand their territory.
- Demonstrate integrity and ethics in representing the Xplor Pay brand
- Drive team to exceed the sales plan on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis by utilizing Xplor Pay's systemic approach to activity management and accountability
- Optimize the team by maximizing the performance of current team members while simultaneously recruiting high-performing new team members
- Provide succinct, insightful reporting to management; accurately forecast future sales; forward proactive recommendations to address key issues or concerns
- Solicit and manage key partner relationships (associations, VARs, other)
- Ensure professionalism of team members in communications, attendance of training sessions and use of social media tools
- Market additional Xplor Pay products and services as they are introduced under company guidelines
- Learn and understand all hardware, software, and reporting offered by Xplor Pay and effectively communicate this information to prospects, clients, and Account Executives
- Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of Xplor Pay's programs (Compass, gateway, etc.) and provide consistent reinforcement of the Xplor Pay selling system to direct reports
- 3+ years of experience effectively managing a sales team in the payment acquisition industry
- Experience building a successful team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic with a drive to excel
- PC proficient with Microsoft Office Suite experience
