Full-Time Warranty Service Operations Specialist

Warranty Service Ops role provides high-quality customer experience to Western Digital customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced and internal Service Operations providers.
• Resolve daily service operations issues.
• Ensure logistics capability meets customer needs, complying with documented instructions.
• Reconcile, validate, and audit warehouse inventory.
• Implement corrective actions with Management.
• Manage commitment methodologies and processes across product groups.
• Generate reports (activity/status, operation review, excess/obsolete).
• Administer company policies (e.g., performance reviews) for subordinate employees.
• Manage claims for lost/damaged materials and supplier part claims.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in services operations support.
• Experience with logistics and inventory management (best practices).
• Experience compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information/data.
• Experience developing goals and plans for prioritizing work.
• Experience managing positive external business relationships.
• International shipping experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities.
• Excellent customer service (internal & external).
• High motivation to meet goals.
• ERP experience (SAP/Oracle).
• Understanding of basic budget development & monitoring.
• Understanding of Incoterms, HTS, DG, export/import requirements.
