About the RoleThe Account Executive is responsible for identifying opportunities and building relationships with prospects and clients within a defined territory. This position offers a highly rewarding opportunity for candidates with successful B2B sales experience.
What You’ll Get to Do
- Identify buyer motivations and position Smith.ai's value to small and medium-sized businesses.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve targets.
- Map client organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts.
- Research and identify opportunities in new verticals.
- Articulate Smith.ai's value proposition and product differentiation.
- Manage a strategic sales process by cultivating relationships with multiple decision-makers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with Smith.ai subject matter experts.
- Communicate with prospects and customers through various channels (email, phone, Zoom).
- Gain product knowledge and contribute to improvements.
What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years successful B2B technology sales to small businesses.
- Previous experience in growth stage startups (preferred).
- Experience closing deals in the $3K-$25K MRR range.
- Prior usage of MEDDICC or relevant sales methodologies (preferred).
