About the RoleThe Account Executive is responsible for identifying opportunities and building relationships with prospects and clients within a defined territory. This position offers a highly rewarding opportunity for candidates with successful B2B sales experience.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Identify buyer motivations and position Smith.ai's value to small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve targets.
  • Map client organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts.
  • Research and identify opportunities in new verticals.
  • Articulate Smith.ai's value proposition and product differentiation.
  • Manage a strategic sales process by cultivating relationships with multiple decision-makers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with Smith.ai subject matter experts.
  • Communicate with prospects and customers through various channels (email, phone, Zoom).
  • Gain product knowledge and contribute to improvements.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years successful B2B technology sales to small businesses.
  • Previous experience in growth stage startups (preferred).
  • Experience closing deals in the $3K-$25K MRR range.
  • Prior usage of MEDDICC or relevant sales methodologies (preferred).
