Job Details

Join Guardant Health's growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team as a field-based Account Executive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD.
  • Meet sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, and execute national sales strategy.
  • Drive strategic business expansion/collaboration opportunities with primary care providers.
  • Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy.
  • Identify and partner with national, regional, and local laboratories.
  • Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements.
  • Identify opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies to cross-functional partners.
  • Continuously analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
  • Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
  • Manage promotional activities to support sales and marketing strategies.
  • Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with sales team.
  • Embrace Guardant Health company culture.
  • Travel daily within assigned territory and regionally/nationally.
  • Support company mission and values.
  • Support and comply with Quality Management System policies.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years direct experience in customer-facing sales (healthcare, diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical).
  • Proven closing abilities and consistent performance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Ability to engage in consultative selling and overcome objections.
  • Outstanding market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong administrative skills to manage complex business environments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (ideally Salesforce and Veeva).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet healthcare clinic access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with diagnostic product sales.
  • Product launch planning and execution experience.
  • Familiarity with the primary care practice landscape.

Compensation: $116,000 - $133,000 (USD).
