Join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field-based Account Executive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD for CRC screening.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, and execute national sales strategy.
- Drive strategic business expansion with primary care providers.
- Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy for launch.
- Identify and partner with national/regional/local labs for phlebotomy draw agreements.
- Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements, training specimen collection, workflow.
- Identify market opportunities, share best practices, and communicate with cross-functional partners.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
- Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Manage promotional activities to support sales and marketing.
- Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
- Collaborate and coordinate with sales team to achieve goals.
- Represent Guardant Health company culture.
Experience Requirements
- 4+ years of direct experience in a customer-facing sales role in healthcare.
- Consistent closing abilities and proven past performance.
- Comfortable communicating, presenting, and selling to healthcare providers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use consultative selling process.
- Outstanding market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.
- Develop cross-functional relationships.
- Work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce & Veeva).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with diagnostic product sales.
- Product launch planning and execution experience.
- Familiarity with primary care practice landscape.
- High-touch customer service skills.
Personal Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to meet doctor office and clinic entry requirements.
- Ability to travel throughout the territory.
Compensation
US base salary range: $116,000 to $133,000.
Salary range does not include benefits, bonus, commission, or equity.
