Join Guardant Health's growing Screening and Early Detection team as a field-based Account Executive. You'll work closely with sales leadership to establish go-to-market strategies and launch groundbreaking cancer screening technology.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and secure healthcare provider partnerships for utilizing SHIELD (cancer screening).
- Achieve sales targets, manage budgets, and execute national sales strategies.
- Foster business expansion/collaboration with primary care providers.
- Develop and implement business plans aligned with brand strategy.
- Identify and partner with national/regional/local labs for phlebotomy agreements.
- Initiate and secure lab service agreements, train on specimen collection, and optimize workflows.
- Analyze competitive landscape, share best practices, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Create detailed strategic plans for client acquisition and retention.
- Manage promotional activities to support sales and marketing.
- Collaborate with various departments to achieve company goals.
- Represent the Guardant Health company culture.
- Extensive field-based travel required (within and outside assigned territory).
- Uphold company values and comply with Quality Management System policies.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of direct healthcare sales experience (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals).
- Strong closing abilities and proven performance exceeding expectations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability in consultative selling and objection handling.
- Market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce/Veeva preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling diagnostic products directly to primary care providers.
- Product launch planning and execution experience.
- Understanding of the primary care practice landscape.
Personal Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Compliance with doctor office entry/access requirements.
- Ability to travel frequently.
Compensation: $116,000 - $133,000 base salary (US). Benefits, bonus, commission, and equity may apply. Salary may vary based on location, experience, and skills.
