Account Manager
We need an Account Manager to manage, grow, and retain business relationships. You will manage, retain, and expand the account base within an assigned territory. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop strong client relationships by understanding needs, addressing concerns, and acting as liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Manage and service existing customers; develop accounts to improve profits.
- Manage and develop strategic accounts.
- Research client needs and bundle products to meet requirements.
- Inform and educate clients on projects, using product experts as resources.
- Generate new business through upselling and cross-selling.
- Realize committed revenue targets.
- Negotiate contract renewals to retain accounts.
- Onboard new clients.
- Present Experian product offerings.
- Gather and present customer feedback to product team for improvements.
- Collaborate with peers, internal and external partners.
- Support revenue targets with other projects and tasks.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sales, account management
- Solid B2B experience
- Experience solving complex customer problems
- Suite-level servicing and contract negotiation experience
- Managing senior-level client relationships
- Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM)
- Sales or account management methodology experience
- Communication and engagement with prospects
- Sales or account management background
- Proficient with standard CRMs
- Ability to travel (when needed)
Permanent home-based role in Costa Rica. No relocation.
