Job Details
Assistant Community Director assists the Community Director with daily property operations and asset management to meet client goals.
Supervises on-site staff (Resident Services Coordinator(s), Compliance Specialist(s), Leasing Manager, Leasing Consultant(s), Maintenance Supervisor(s), Maintenance Technician(s), Make-Ready or Rehab Technician(s), Groundskeeper(s)/Porter(s), Painter(s), and Cleaner(s)/Housekeeper(s)).
Pay: $23 - $25 / Hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Client Relations: Follow owner's philosophies and wishes in daily operations to meet client expectations.
- Communication: Maintain positive communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests.
- Employee Management: Operate property in the Community Director's absence. Train and onboard new leasing team members.
- Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy, exhibit professional leasing techniques, assist with market surveys, implement advertising/marketing, and ensure online marketing updates.
- Revenue Management: Maximize revenue by managing lease expirations and turnovers, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
- Reporting and Document Management: Maintain resident files, ensure document integrity and confidentiality, and meet reporting requirements.
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Risk Management procedures, report injuries, illnesses, and property damage, and react calmly in emergencies.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with maintenance needs, document facility needs, and monitor physical assets.
- Other: Enforce community rules, comply with Fair Housing Laws, maintain a professional image, meet training requirements, and perform any directed functions.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in Residential Property Management preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required, College degree preferred.
- Valid Driver's License, good driving record, current insurance, and operable vehicle.
- Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management software, email, internet).
