Full-Time Assistant General Counsel - Practice Operations

Operational Legal Support:

• Serve as the go-to legal advisor for doctors, advanced practice providers, practice managers, and Regional Vice Presidents on operational and regulatory matters.
• Provide fast, clear, business-oriented legal advice.
• Navigate multi-state operational issues by delivering practical solutions.

Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate operational contracts (vendor agreements, services contracts, supply chain deals, equipment leases/purchases).
• Help streamline and standardize recurring vendor and operational contract terms.

Real Estate & Leasing:

• Lead legal review of commercial leases, including new leases, renewals, amendments, and subleases.
• Prepare lease abstracts and coordinate with operations and finance.

Employment & HR Support:

• Partner with HR, Regional Vice Presidents, and practice leadership on employment needs.
• Draft and refine physician and advanced practice provider employment agreements.
• Partner with outside counsel on employment matters.

Litigation & Disputes:

• Manage threatened and active litigation, including employment disputes and commercial claims.
• Work with outside counsel, providing strategic direction.

Professional Board Matters:

• Oversee responses to medical board, nursing board, and other licensing agency inquiries.
• Coordinate with compliance, risk, and clinical leadership.
