Full-Time Commercial Counsel (Remote)

• Find creative solutions that meet both Experian’s and its clients’ business and compliance needs.
• Coordinate with team members in information security, compliance, sales, and finance to bring transactions to completion.
• Maintain contracting policies, assist sales teams, advise management, and provide training.
• Make quick decisions to facilitate deal execution while minimizing risk.

• JD from an accredited law school; admission to the bar of any state.
• 3+ years of legal experience in-house or in a contracts department.
• Comfort supporting a sales organization and working with business and technical colleagues.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience negotiating critical contract terms (Limitations of Liability, Indemnification, etc.).
• Experience aligning contract terms to meet revenue recognition requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DocuSign, and Adobe products.
• Experience with Salesforce and familiarity with state and federal privacy laws (FCRA, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
• CIPP certification preferred.
