Full-Time Associate Commercial Counsel

Emburse seeks a US- or Canada-based commercial/contracts attorney to support SaaS resale and referral operations.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Partnerships, Sales, Finance, and other teams on contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Provide contract risk assessment and advice.
• Update contract templates to meet quality standards and industry best practices.
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, NDAs, and DPAs.

Qualifications:

• JD from ABA-accredited school and bar membership (US) or equivalent Canadian qualification.
• 3-5 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with technology, SaaS, and software reseller agreements.
• Understanding of the B2B payments industry (preferred).
