Full-Time Associate General Counsel

• Provide legal counsel on marketing campaigns, advertising strategies, promotional activities, and co-branded partnerships.
• Review and approve content, advertising copy, digital assets, presentations, and claims.
• Draft and review disclosures, disclaimers, contest rules, terms of use, and talent release agreements.
• Advise product teams on all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Serve as a trusted legal partner to cross-functional teams.
• Support the negotiation, drafting, and review of commercial agreements, marketing contracts, and content licenses.
• Collaborate with the Privacy team to advise on marketing-related privacy issues and customer data use.
• Manage and protect Brightspeed’s intellectual property portfolio.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of emerging regulations and industry trends.

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 10+ years of legal experience with a strong focus on marketing, advertising, and product counseling.
• Deep knowledge of advertising, consumer protection, and e-commerce laws.
• Experience in the telecommunications and/or technology industry.
• Familiarity with legal issues related to privacy, intellectual property, brand marketing, and omnichannel advertising.
• Excellent judgment and the ability to balance legal risks with business objectives.
• Proven contract negotiation and drafting experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and a proactive mindset
