They commercialize fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactors (FHR) for deployment with robust safety, affordable costs, and flexible operation.
Job Summary Kairos Power seeks an experienced attorney to support supply chain and procurement.
Responsibilities
- Support supply chain and procurement team as primary attorney.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (domestic & cross-border) including supply, consulting, transportation, contingent workforce, lease, IT, construction, and EPC agreements.
- Develop and maintain templates, playbooks, and contract clause database.
- Develop contracting processes and training.
- Guide vendor engagements and answer questions on NDAs, contract terms, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and support pre-litigation disputes.
- Stay updated on legal developments and market trends.
- Assist with other legal tasks.
Qualifications
- Current, good standing member of at least one state bar.
- 5+ years of legal experience with increasing responsibility.
- Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating sophisticated commercial contracts.
- IP transactions experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, risk identification, collaboration, and communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changes, and solve problems.
- Commitment to integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
Physical Conditions -Stationary work with some standing/sitting.
Environmental Conditions -Office environment.
Additional Requirements
-Occasional weekend and extended hours for launches/projects
Salary: $144,900 - $181,200 (onsite Alameda, CA)
