Our client has an immediate need for an Attorney to join their team in Dallas, Texas on a hybrid-remote basis. This role is instrumental in the securities industry, specifically dealing with matters related to FINRA Rule 4311, clearing, and custody programs. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Review and amend customer and vendor agreements as necessary to meet business group requirements
• Develop and edit sections in agreements to ensure they are comprehensive and legally sound
• Handle matters related to carrying FINRA Rule 4311, providing legal advice as required
• Manage clearing and custody programs, ensuring all legal aspects are accurately addressed
• Utilize expertise in contracts and vendor agreements to ensure all legal documents are in order
• Ensure all actions are compliant with FINRA regulations.
Requirements
• Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Possession of a current state license to practice law
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and document management
• Familiarity with case management software
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
• Knowledge of FINRA regulations and their implementation
• Experience in managing vendor agreements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in legal research and strategy
