How You Will Make an Impact: The Commercial Sales Associate is the main contact for sales and service in a thriving Commercial Tire Dealership. The Commercial Sales Associate is in charge of sales for area fleets, as well as promoting new tires, retreads, and tire services.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Solicit commercial truck tire accounts in designated areas
• Responsible for the sale of Industrial tires, new truck tires, retreads, and services
• Maintain current accounts with regular sales calls and follow up
• Learn and work through existing business operating systems for billing of sales channels
• Maintain an acceptable profit margin
• Actively seek new accounts and represent the company to potential customers
• Develop and maintain thorough product/service knowledge for accurate customer information
• Meet established sales and gross profit goals
• Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations
• Prepare weekly sales plans and complete call reports following company procedures

What You Will Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to obtain a DOT med card
• Previous Sales Experience
• Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team
• Good oral and written communication ability
• Background check including employment history, SSN verification, criminal history
• Physical exam and drug test
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)

Additional ways to stand out:

• Previous Commercial Tire Sales Experience
• 5+ years experience in the tire industry
• Retread tire knowledge

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Work hours: generally 7-5 Monday-Friday, Saturdays and evenings as needed (potential for little notice)
• Work environment: indoor and outdoor; heat and cold exposure
• Physical Requirements: standing, bending, climbing, lifting, walking
• Hazardous materials handling
• Protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, eyewear)
• OSHA compliance and safety requirements
• Lifting: 50-75 lbs routinely, up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Travel: 75% within regional area; minimal overnight travel
