Full-Time BestDrive Commercial Sales Associate

Commercial Sales Associate is the key contact for sales & service in a Commercial Tire Dealership.

Responsibilities include:

• Sales for area fleets & promoting tires, retreads, & services.
• Soliciting existing & new accounts.
• Commercial truck tire account solicitation.
• Selling industrial tires, new truck tires, retreads, & services.
• Maintaining current accounts through regular sales calls & follow-up.
• Learning & using the existing billing system.
• Achieving acceptable profit margins.
• Actively seeking new accounts & representing the company.
• Developing & maintaining product & service knowledge for accurate customer information.
• Meeting sales & gross profit goals.
• Evaluating customer needs & making recommendations.
• Preparing weekly sales plans & completing call reports according to company procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to obtain DOT med card
• Previous sales experience
• Results-oriented & fast-paced team player
• Excellent oral & written communication
• Background check (employment history, SSN, criminal)
• Physical exam & drug test
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Additional Considerations:

• Previous commercial tire sales experience is a plus
• 5+ years experience in the tire industry
• Retread tire knowledge

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• 7-5 Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday/evening hours.
• Indoor & outdoor work, exposure to heat/cold.
• Regular standing, bending, climbing, lifting, & walking.
• Handling hazardous materials & wearing protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, eyewear)
• Complying with OSHA regulations & safety requirements
• Routine lifting of 50-75 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
• 75% regional travel; minimal overnight travel.
