This role funnels leads to a sales representative for qualification and closing.
Purely a lead generation role with our new Donnelley Solutions Group (DSG).
No further sales cycle responsibilities, but opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage proven prospecting techniques to initiate contact with prospects in financial services, insurance, utilities, mortgage, and retirement services.
- Generate interest in discovery meetings with RRD Sales Executives.
- Identify multiple contact points within target lists.
- Position product/service value proposition to entice prospects into discovery meetings.
- Conduct online research to understand prospect and contact point business objectives.
- Generate a high-value sales pipeline for Healthcare accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop prospect lists.
- Develop and manage a prospect pipeline; provide top-tier customer experience.
- Effectively transition leads to account executives post-discovery meeting.
- Actively utilize Salesforce for lead generation activities.
- Meet with Sales Leaders to evaluate strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, or related field.
- 2+ years sales and telemarketing experience, with emphasis on cold calling.
- Commercial print or direct mail experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Goal-oriented, persuasive, self-motivated, and independent.
- Proficiency in cold calling techniques and Salesforce CRM.
- Comfortable using multiple channels (email, phone, social media, mail, etc.) for contact.
- Ability to position RRD services to various contact points within a prospect account.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-driven, persistent, persuasive, and strong prospecting skills.
- Excellent telephone sales, objection handling, and handling rejections.
- Understanding of business needs and ability to close new business.
- Resiliency and professionalism.
Salary: $43,900 - $77,200/year (negotiable based on location, skills, experience).
