This role funnels leads to a sales representative for qualification and closing. It's a lead generation role for the Donnelley Solutions Group (DSG) and does not handle further sales steps. Potential for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Use proven prospecting methods to contact potential clients (financial services, insurance, utilities, mortgage, retirement).
- Generate interest in discovery meetings with RRD Sales Executives.
- Identify multiple contacts within target accounts and present value proposition to encourage discovery meetings.
- Conduct online research to understand prospect and contact objectives.
- Build a strong sales pipeline, including healthcare accounts.
- Collaborate with sales team to develop prospect lists.
- Manage prospect pipeline and provide exceptional customer experience.
- Effectively transition leads to account executives post-discovery meeting.
- Use Salesforce for all lead generation activities.
- Meet with sales leaders to evaluate strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, communication, or related field.
- 2+ years of sales and telemarketing experience, emphasizing cold calling.
- Knowledge of commercial print/direct mail products is preferred.
- Efficient multi-tasking abilities.
- Goal-oriented, persuasive, self-motivated, and independent.
- Proficient in cold calling techniques and Salesforce CRM.
- Comfortable using multiple channels (email, phone, social media, mail) for contact.
- Ability to present RRD services to different contacts within accounts.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-driven, persistent, persuasive, strong telephone sales skills.
- Ability to solve business needs, close new business, and handle objections.
- Resilient, able to handle rejection, and professional.
Compensation:
Salary range: $43,900 to $77,200 / year. May adjust based on location and future changes. Not typically hired at top of range.
