Experian Employer Services is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to connect with prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
- Contact prospective companies via phone to identify key decision-makers for Unemployment Cost Management, Employment Verification Services, I-9, Compliance Library, and Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC). Typically contacting Payroll and Human Resource professionals.
- Follow up with email and LinkedIn, providing additional information about Experian Employer Services' offerings.
- Answer prospect questions and attempt to schedule introductory sales calls.
- Update the sales database (Salesforce).
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of services/products and communicate their value to prospects.
- Participate in sales strategy development and account planning.
- Collaborate with Sales Management to create targeted sales opportunities and improve BDR efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Professional and pleasant communication style
- Customer service experience
Compensation:
- Base salary plus commission (60% base, 40% commission)
- 3 weeks vacation per year
- 401k with 4% match
