The Opportunity: The Regional Business Development Representative will focus on the Hospitality vertical. Assist sales management with administrative tasks including monthly report preparation, target research using data analytics, updating account/contact/opportunity information in Salesforce, executing sales projects, and performing assigned tasks.
Here's What We're Looking For:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar.
- Previous experience in Hospitality industry, sales administration, or similar role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong technical skills, including Salesforce.com, GoToMeeting, and Office 365.
- High energy, self-motivated, and ambitious personality.
- Ability to build professional trust and respect.
- Proven record of sound judgment.
- Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping.
- Familiarity with sales reports and records.
- Ability to take initiative and work well independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Comfortable cold-calling and prospecting.
- Ability to assess client needs and articulate solutions.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and integrity.
Challenges You’ll Tackle:
- Perform accurate and timely data entry/validation.
- Receive/make calls, create emails.
- Perform administrative duties, scheduling meetings, demonstrations, webinars.
- Learn solutions to demonstrate with customers/prospects.
- Contribute to regional team sales goals.
- Collaborate with sales leadership/marketing to create sales materials.
- Identify key decision-makers through research, cold calling, emailing.
- Manage/follow up with leads.
- Coordinate/create special reports and projects.
- Work closely with regional account teams.
- Attend weekly meetings and take minutes.
- Perform special assignments.
