SafetyChain Software is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Marketing team. This role focuses on lead generation by engaging with prospective buyers, converting interest into opportunities, and setting qualified appointments for the regional sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with inbound leads (primarily MQLs).
- Manage recycled leads and re-engagement opportunities.
- Qualify prospects and nurture early interest.
- Set high-quality appointments for Account Executives.
Performance Expectations:
- Activity Targets: Approximately 40–50 outreach activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches) per day.
- SQL Goal: Aim to generate 12–16 qualified sales opportunities per month.
- Speed-to-Lead: Initial outreach to inbound leads within 24 hours.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level experience in customer-facing roles (door-to-door, retail, hospitality).
- Coachable, scrappy, and a go-getter.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter motivated to succeed in sales.
- Clear communication and rapport-building skills.
- Comfortable learning tools like ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and HubSpot.
- Natural problem solver focused on results.
- Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
