Full-Time Category Manager

Category Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee specific category within commercial brands portfolio.
• Develop long-term growth plans.
• Manage daily operations: range optimization, pricing, supplier relationships.
• Collaborate cross-functionally for data-driven strategies.
• Ensure category profitability & growth.
• Lead market analysis, product lifecycle management.
• Foster collaboration across teams.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Develop & implement category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market research & analyze customer behavior.
• Optimize product range, manage lifecycle, introduce new products.
• Set pricing strategies, manage margins.
• Coordinate with marketing teams for promotions.
• Build & maintain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts.
• Ensure consistent product supply and strategic alignment.
• Track & report category performance.
• Lead & mentor team, set goals, monitor performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
• Proven experience in category management or procurement.
• Success in expanding product categories in fast-paced industries.
• Expertise in developing & implementing category strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships, excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical & commercial acumen.
