Full-Time Corporate Counsel, EMEA Public Sector

We are seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Corporate Counsel for European and Middle East public sector contracting.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as subject matter expert for public sector procurements and negotiations.
• Support public sector tenders, including Requests for Proposals.
• Review and negotiate SaaS sales agreements and professional services agreements.
• Represent ServiceNow in negotiations with government and commercial customers.
• Support contract performance matters.
• Collaborate with internal support teams.
• Anticipate and advise on legal risks.
• Support the continuous improvement of standard agreements and legal processes.
• Counsel and deliver training to internal customers.
• Occasional travel.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of in-house public sector contracting experience.
• Experience negotiating agreements with government customers.
• Familiarity with channel practices.
• A Law Degree and applicable license to practice law (French law degree a plus).
• Fluent in English, French and/or other major language(s) used in EMEA.
• Excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
• Exceptional critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial law and contract law.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales and other internal organizations.
• Proficient drafting and legal technical skills.
• Firm understanding of revenue recognition principals
