Full-Time Corporate Counsel, Privacy

ServiceNow is seeking a motivated and ambitious attorney with 5+ years of proven privacy/data protection law experience to join our dynamic legal team.

The successful candidate will be located in the US (on a flexible or remote basis), reporting to the Head of AMS Privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and guidance to various departments (governance, risk, compliance, sales, product, procurement, HR) as part of the Global Privacy team.
• Assist commercial legal and procurement legal teams in reviewing and negotiating privacy-related agreements (DPAs, SCCs, International Data Transfer Agreements).
• Advise on existing and emerging privacy laws in the US and across AMS.
• Assist in privacy guidance related to AI/ML and other emerging technologies.
• Assist in developing company privacy practices in light of global legal changes, coordinating with the Global Privacy team.
• Assist in creating and maintaining privacy notices, policies, standards, guidelines, and processes, including privacy reviews and impact assessments.
• Assist in data transfer impact assessments and guidance related to international data transfer and localization developments.
• Assist in pursuing and maintaining privacy-related certifications and standards.
• Support privacy training for various company groups.
• Advise on product-related legal issues.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience
• Active membership in at least one U.S. State bar
• Relevant experience at a law firm and in-house
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with a talent for win-win negotiations
• Ability to distill complex issues and communicate effectively one-on-one, in groups, and in internal/external contexts
• Degree required
