Promethean is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel to join its legal team and support a wide range of corporate and commercial needs. This role is ideal for an attorney eager to blend public company securities work with hands-on support for day-to-day business operations. You’ll gain exposure to a global edtech business, working across governance, compliance, contracts, and commercial matters.
In this role, you’ll:
- Assist with corporate and securities filings
- Support board and governance activities
- Provide day-to-day advice on commercial agreements
- Help address compliance issues
- Advise business stakeholders
- Provide practical solutions to routine legal questions.
The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of corporate securities/public company experience, with the ability to manage run-rate commercial contract review and general legal support. Experience with Foreign Private Issuers and/or NYSE-listed companies is a strong plus. Strong drafting skills, business judgment, and the ability to work across functions in a fast-paced environment are essential.
