Who You’ll Work With:The Country Manager – India will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships for the company’s networking solutions within India. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep industry knowledge, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead sales, operations, and business development efforts.
What You’ll Do:
- Sales & Business Growth
- Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the Indian & SAARC market.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for enterprise, service provider, and government segments.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding market share across verticals.
- Build and maintain C-level relationships with customers and partners.
- Channel & Partner Ecosystem Management
- Develop and manage channel partners, resellers, and distributors to drive sales.
- Implement partner enablement programs to strengthen reseller capabilities.
- Ensure effective deal registration, pricing strategies, and partner incentives to enhance market penetration.
- Market Expansion & Strategy
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify growth areas.
- Drive local marketing campaigns, events, and demand generation initiatives to enhance brand presence.
- Work closely with global teams to align product positioning and messaging for the Indian market.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing sales and operations team.
- Set clear KPIs and performance expectations for regional teams.
- Foster a customer-first and results-driven culture within the organization.
- Operations & Compliance
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to local business laws.
- Oversee operational functions, including logistics, finance, and customer support.
- Optimize pricing, margin structures, and deal execution for long-term growth.
Experience & Industry Knowledge:
- 15+ years of experience in networking, telecom, or IT infrastructure industry.
- Proven track record in sales leadership and P&L management for a technology vendor.
- Strong relationships & connect with C-level customer execs, partners & industry leaders in the assigned region
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, data center solutions, enterprise networking, security, SD-WAN & Observability products/solutions.
Sales & Business Acumen:
- Experience in managing multi-million-dollar revenue targets & GTM
- Strong customer and partner engagement skills at an executive level.
- Ability to drive complex sales cycles, including large enterprise and government deals.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and operations.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive strategic partnerships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed global organization.
Regional Market Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of India’s IT and networking market trends, competition, and regulatory environment.
- Established industry relationships with key stakeholders, service providers, and enterprises.
Education & Skills:
- MBA or equivalent business/technology degree.
- Experience working with global teams and driving localization strategies.
- Knowledge of 5G, AI-driven networking, and emerging technologies in the networking space.
