Who You’ll Work With:The Country Manager – India will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships for the company’s networking solutions within India. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep industry knowledge, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead sales, operations, and business development efforts.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Sales & Business Growth
    • Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the Indian & SAARC market.
    • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for enterprise, service provider, and government segments.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding market share across verticals.
    • Build and maintain C-level relationships with customers and partners.
  2. Channel & Partner Ecosystem Management
    • Develop and manage channel partners, resellers, and distributors to drive sales.
    • Implement partner enablement programs to strengthen reseller capabilities.
    • Ensure effective deal registration, pricing strategies, and partner incentives to enhance market penetration.
  3. Market Expansion & Strategy
    • Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify growth areas.
    • Drive local marketing campaigns, events, and demand generation initiatives to enhance brand presence.
    • Work closely with global teams to align product positioning and messaging for the Indian market.
  4. Leadership & Team Development
    • Build and lead a high-performing sales and operations team.
    • Set clear KPIs and performance expectations for regional teams.
    • Foster a customer-first and results-driven culture within the organization.
  5. Operations & Compliance
    • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to local business laws.
    • Oversee operational functions, including logistics, finance, and customer support.
    • Optimize pricing, margin structures, and deal execution for long-term growth.

Experience & Industry Knowledge:

  • 15+ years of experience in networking, telecom, or IT infrastructure industry.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership and P&L management for a technology vendor.
  • Strong relationships & connect with C-level customer execs, partners & industry leaders in the assigned region
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, data center solutions, enterprise networking, security, SD-WAN & Observability products/solutions.

Sales & Business Acumen:

  • Experience in managing multi-million-dollar revenue targets & GTM
  • Strong customer and partner engagement skills at an executive level.
  • Ability to drive complex sales cycles, including large enterprise and government deals.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed global organization.

Regional Market Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of India’s IT and networking market trends, competition, and regulatory environment.
  • Established industry relationships with key stakeholders, service providers, and enterprises.

Education & Skills:

  • MBA or equivalent business/technology degree.
  • Experience working with global teams and driving localization strategies.
  • Knowledge of 5G, AI-driven networking, and emerging technologies in the networking space.
