ALAW, a nationwide law firm, is seeking a qualified associate attorney to support its New York practice.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a member in good standing of the NY state Bar.
- Licensed in the New York federal district and bankruptcy courts.
- 5+ years of mortgage foreclosure and collections experience is required.
- Familiar with resolving issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
- Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code are preferred.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Value reputation and be willing to proactively develop relationships in the industry.
- Court appearances will be required, and some attendant travel may be required.
- Familiar with the New York legal system.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- May involve after hour coverage.
