As a District Sales Manager, lead a team of experienced sellers, formulating and executing a strategy for maximum business growth. Develop and manage your team to drive transformational deals, accelerate growth, and meet/exceed individual, team, and organizational goals.
Proven visionary sales leader with a passion to win, energy, innovation, and a focus on elevating team performance and C-suite relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand customer needs through research to gain insights into priorities.
- Provide robust team support by participating in and leading customer meetings.
- Thoroughly analyze weekly territory pipeline and forecasting activities to coach direct reports on closure strategies.
- Engage proactively in territory planning and development, fostering C-suite relationships and seizing revenue-driving opportunities.
- Cultivate a high-performance sales culture delivering outstanding results in bookings, sales development, and forecast accuracy; mentor and develop your team.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of the portfolio to solve customer problems.
- Drive and oversee team selling opportunities, ensuring a collaborative approach.
- Hold your team and yourself accountable for challenging goals while maintaining a forward-thinking approach.
- Effectively communicate with leaders at all levels, including C-suite, establishing open and trusting relationships.
- Influence others through adept change management practices.
- Develop a winning team through strategic recruitment, hiring, and training, upholding core values.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships.
Experience:
- Proven leadership skills building high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in SaaS-based architectures and cloud technology (ideally networking or security).
- Swiss Market expertise.
- 2+ years experience managing a high-performing DQC Team.
- Experience with indirect and direct sales strategies.
- Consistent year-over-year sales pipeline management success exceeding targets.
- Focus on execution, urgency, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- History of meeting/exceeding revenue goals while building/developing teams.
- Strong internal/external influencing and communication skills building consensus.
- Teamwork focus fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
- Experience in developing and executing sales initiatives.
- Strategic partnership building and management.
- Fluent in German and English.
