Full-Time DXE Technical Sales Rep

This role involves providing customer support and assistance related to company products.

• Receives call and email messages from prospective customers and explains type of products offered
• Researches products available for purchase based upon the customers' need
• Assists customers with proper selection of items
• Provides basic telephone troubleshooting as applicable to company products
• Quotes prices and tries to persuade customer to buy
• Secures orders and keys data into computer, and informs customer of delivery date
• Records names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects solicited
• Processes and follows up on mail orders
• Performs follow-up on special orders, drop ships, pricing, etc.
• Assists Sales Manager in product presentation, arrangement and functionality of Company web site
• Provides assistance to Tech Writer for presentation and proofreading of technical publications
• Interacts and communicates with other departments, team leaders and supervisors

Requirements

• Amateur Radio License is required
