Description
• Represent and advise clients on various employment law matters • Provide legal guidance and represent clients in disputes related to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and other employment-related issues • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs • Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, settlement negotiations, and court appearances • Represent clients in administrative proceedings, such as EEOC claims • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations
Requirements
• Must have a well-established and exclusive employment litigation, defense background • Trial experience preferred, but not required • Experience with public entity defense a plus • Must have knowledge of class/PAGA inclusive • Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees • Member, State Bar of California in good standing • Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability • Excellent written and oral communication • Commitment to proactive case management
