Responsibilities
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including class actions, wage & hour disputes, and executive compensation matters.
- Provide strategic counsel on compliance with employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, Title VII, and state labor regulations.
- Draft and review employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and workplace policies.
- Conduct legal research, prepare briefs, and present arguments in hearings and motions.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-profile cases and trial strategy.
- Engage in client counseling and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in mentorship, business development, and leadership training programs.
Education & Licensing
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission.
Experience & Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on management-side representation.
- Strong litigation experience, including depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Knowledge of wage & hour laws, EEO regulations, and class action litigation.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client advisory and relationship-building skills.
