Loan Officer University is a comprehensive 16-week self-paced training program designed to teach you the fundamentals of mortgage sales.
With 10 hours of prerecorded instruction per week, you'll learn from industry experts—including Todd Scrima—about key aspects of the mortgage industry, how to generate leads using proven sales strategies, and how to thrive and grow your wealth in a commission-based environment.

Please note: This is a training program, not an immediate job offer. Completing the course doesn’t guarantee a job, but it will qualify you to work as a mortgage loan officer and interview for a Loan Officer position with Summit Funding.
What our Loan Officers are responsible for:
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, support, and best-in-class service
- Originating and closing residential home loans and serving as subject matter expert on the mortgage process.
- Developing long-term relationships with realtors, homebuilders, and other self-generated purchase-focused referral sources through daily, weekly, and monthly touches.
Loan Officer University Graduate
Must be currently licensed with NMLS to be hired
Applicants must reside in, and be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis to be eligible for hire.

If I complete this program and am hired at Summit Funding, how will I be paid?
Compensation for graduates of this program who are hired on as Loan Officers will receive an hourly wage of $20.19/hr plus a bonus on each loan closed until promoted to Sr Loan Officer.
Sr Loan Officer compensation is full commissions on loans closed. The commission rate ranges between 50 to 150 basis points per loan depending on position, experience, and location.
