Full-Time Field Engineer (RF/DAS - Entry Level)

As the Field Engineer, you'll learn from senior engineers, supporting pre/post-sale DAS deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-sales site evaluations (coverage, facility conditions, DAS constructability)
• Post-install commissioning & optimization
• RF path loss testing
• Using iBwave for RF propagation prediction
• Preparing BOMs and design presentations
• Recommending DAS deployments to customers
• Documenting designs and following up with project support
• On-site commissioning and optimization
• Providing feedback on deployment engineers' performance
• Working with project managers to stay within budgets
• Performing site surveys (constructability and RF benchmarking)
• Balancing project, PM, sales, and maintenance requirements

Requirements:

• Telecommunications experience (RF, DAS, Wireless)
• Technical knowledge & problem-solving skills
• Engineering/estimating experience
• Attention to detail and timeliness
• Strong customer relationship skills
• Experience with test equipment, tools, and vehicles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Organization and time management skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Computer Science (or related)
• Familiarity with DAS OEMs (Commscope/Andrew, Corning/Mobile Access, JMA, ADRF, SOLID)
• Familiarity with iBwave, JDSU, Invex, AutoCAD

Other:

• Remote work (USA, Eastern/Central time zones preferred)
• Travel required (50%-75%+)
• Must be within commuting distance of a major airport
• COVID vaccination may be required
• Potential work in commercial construction sites, hospitals, etc.
