About Jacobi Robotics: Join us at Jacobi, a well-funded Silicon Valley startup revolutionizing robotics with cutting-edge software for robotic arms. Their AI-powered platform speeds up deployment by 20x. Founded by roboticists and AI researchers from UC Berkeley and Carnegie Mellon University, Jacobi makes advanced robotics accessible. As a key part of the growth, you'll work closely with founders to grow the customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the sales cycle for mixed palletizing & logistics solutions, targeting end customers & integrators.
- Identify strategic opportunities, focusing on early adopters & design partners.
- Evaluate customer needs for automation projects; develop concepts with the Solutions team, & follow up with quotes.
- Generate new business, qualify leads, and follow up attentively. Lead customer visits and present proposals.
- Represent Jacobi at trade shows, events, & customer meetings.
- Document all information thoroughly and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
- Understand the market, competitors, customers, & decision influencers; stay updated on automation trends.
- Proven track record selling technical solutions (robotic cells, industrial automation, or capital equipment to logistics customers preferred).
- Experience in enterprise-level consultative sales (navigating complex sales cycles).
- Build long-term customer relationships and provide exceptional experiences.
- Meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficient in pipeline management, CRM tools, and data-driven decision making.
- Technical experience in applications or solution engineering (preferred).
- Willingness to travel.
- Comfortable navigating new markets and overcoming objections.
- Excited about building scalable sales processes from scratch in an early-stage startup environment.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills, creating persuasive proposals & presentations.
- Confidence presenting to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
Compensation: Base salary range $80,000-$150,000 per year, plus commissions & equity.
