The Healthcare Account Representative (HCAR) works as an inside business development salesperson and serves as the key contact for professional patient referrals within assigned accounts. Accounts include hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and senior care providers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop business partnerships and agreements for referrals.
- Manage customer/referral pipeline in CRM for updated communication.
- Generate 25+ direct referrals monthly, aiming for 8-10+ move-ins.
- Nurture relationships to become a resource for senior living options.
- Familiarize yourself with the healthcare ecosystem to support APFM integration.
- Achieve goals via cold calling, managing appointments (Zoom/WebEx).
- Understand healthcare professional and family needs to assist seniors.
- Collaborate with Senior Living Advisors and other teams.
Qualifications:
- Collaborative inside sales professional with a passion for senior care.
- 2+ years of telephone sales/telemarketing experience preferred; new business development experience required (healthcare preferred).
- Proven success in metric-driven/quota environments.
- Strong technology skills (basic); social media and VOIP experience a plus.
- Willingness to comply with company policies and regulations.
- Night and weekend availability as needed.
- Annual travel for regional/national meetings.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $40,000
- On-target earnings: $65,000 (uncapped)
