The Human Resources Assistant, Engagement will support and advance employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Administrative and logistical support for engagement programs.
- Coordination of engagement programs.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Project management skills for planning, executing, and monitoring engagement programs.
- Collaboration with other support departments.
- Thorough and accurate documentation of committee interactions.
Project Management:
- Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of employee engagement projects (surveys, recognition programs, wellness programs, team-building, diversity and inclusion initiatives).
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Track progress, identify roadblocks, and implement solutions.
- Prepare project status reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Utilize project management software and tools.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and analyze data.
- Document project procedures and best practices.
Employee Engagement Support:
- Provide administrative support (scheduling, logistics, communications).
- Assist in the development and distribution of engagement communications (newsletters, emails, intranet content).
- Maintain accurate records of employee participation and engagement data.
- Respond to employee inquiries.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of engagement resources and materials.
- Help curate and maintain the employee intranet.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback.
- Assist in the development and administration of employee surveys.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of engagement programs.
- Coordinate volunteer and community outreach programs.
General HR Support:
- Handle confidential information.
- Assist with other HR-related tasks.
Environmental Working Conditions: Primarily office environment or remote home office. May include reporting to remote/alternative training locations.
Physical Demands: Ability to view screens for extended periods, use keyboard/mouse, prolonged sitting, occasional standing/walking, lift/carry up to 10 lbs regularly and 25 lbs occasionally with assistance.
Minimum Requirements: 1+ year experience in a similar HR role, preferably in Residential Property Management. High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in English. Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, email, internet). Basic design skills (Canva, MailChimp) preferred.
