We aim to sustain and scale our business, viewing profit as a means to our mission. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive HR Operations Specialist to join our People team. Our HR Operations team needs an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to handle essential day-to-day tasks, ensuring employee support and appreciation.

What we're looking for:
- HR Expertise: 1-2 years of experience in HR, administration, or similar.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling, Deel, Workday) and GSuite (Gmail, Calendar, Google Sheets).
- Strong communication: Excellent communication skills and customer-service mindset.
- Passion for positive employee experience.
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable adapting to fast-paced environments and changing priorities.
- Team Player: Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
About the Team: Our globally distributed team fosters collaboration and learning across junior and senior professionals in the US and Serbia. We prioritize communication and alignment, using daily stand-ups, bi-weekly People team meetings, and monthly alignment sessions. For day-to-day collaboration, we use thorough documentation, Slack, and email. Our supportive and welcoming culture emphasizes curiosity, helpfulness, and warmth to create a thriving environment for every team member.
Our remote team culture: The team overlaps between 7am-12pm PST, Monday-Friday, for meetings. All team members require at least a 4-hour overlap with PST business hours. For special occasions (holidays) we rotate 'on-call' duties where 1 person handles Slack and emails for HR emergencies.
Speed in this role:
- Employee inquiry tickets resolved within hours.
- Basic reports compiled same day.
- All new hire paperwork drafted and sent same day.
- Employee appreciation gifts sent within the hour.
- New hire emails responded to within the hour.
