Job Summary: This is a 3-month maternity cover position. The Human Resources Representative will support HR functions, maintain employee records, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and ensure smooth HR operations. This role offers excellent career growth in HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with onboarding (preparing paperwork, coordinating orientations, ensuring a seamless experience)
- Maintain/update employee records (accuracy, compliance with company policies)
- Support offboarding (exit interviews, equipment returns, final documentation)
- Be a point of contact for employee inquiries (HR policies, benefits, payroll)
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, training, company events
- Assist in benefits administration (enrollment, answering questions)
- Ensure compliance (employment laws, company policies)
- Collaborate with HR/other departments to improve processes and enhance the employee experience
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1+ year experience in HR, people operations, or administrative support (internships included)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive info with confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HR software (Workday, BambooHR) - a plus
