Trupanion is seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our team as Inbound Phone Sales Specialists.
As an Inbound Phone Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in educating potential members about our premier pet insurance policies and enrolling their beloved pets in comprehensive coverage.
The role includes answering warm leads, educating potential members, and enrolling pets. Also, handling calls from members requesting to cancel their policy and attempting to retain them.
Success is based on your individual performance, with monthly bonuses for meeting and exceeding sales goals. You'll help cats and dogs live longer, healthier lives.
Schedule (Pacific Time Hours):
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, including full weekends without rotation.
- Saturday to Wednesday, 11:30 AM PDT to 8:00 PM PDT.
- Training (7 weeks): Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM PDT to 5:00 PM PDT.
Important Note: Weekend availability required. Must be licensed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and New York.
Remote position open to candidates anywhere in the US, with a reliable hard-wire Ethernet connection.
Hybrid schedule in Seattle office option available.
What you will do:
- Answer inbound warm leads.
- Understand customer needs and tailor insurance solutions.
- Present policy value and benefits.
- Effectively manage call conversations toward enrollment.
- Provide detailed policy information.
- Address objections with confidence and empathy.
- Use assumptive closing techniques.
- Enroll pets in policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet objectives.
Experience you have:
- Minimum 2 years successful sales in a high-volume B2C environment.
- Excellent communication and customer-centric skills.
- Ability to actively listen and provide appropriate solutions.
- Understanding of the insurance industry, especially pet insurance (preferred).
- Strong objection handling skills.
- Goal-oriented, proven ability to achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Active Property and Casualty license preferred.
Licensing: $1500 sign-on bonus for currently licensed candidates.
Compensation: $20/hour full-time, plus uncapped monthly bonuses.
