This position may be hybrid if located near a sales office. Applicants will be considered anywhere in the Central and Eastern Time Zones.
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this role sells RRD products and solutions via phone or electronic communication to customers in an assigned territory. The emphasis will be on building strong business relationships for repeat business and growing opportunities to enterprise sales.
In collaboration with the National Sales Team, this role is responsible for business development and sales efforts focusing on new or underserved markets.
Sales efforts include outbound sales calls to prospects and existing clients.
Business Development Activities include:
- Market and company research to identify potential clients and points of contact.
- Cold calling activities
- Scheduling and holding virtual/phone-based introduction meetings
Sales Activities may include:
- Strategy development for presenting products/solutions.
- Client presentations (virtual or onsite)
- Responding to Requests for Proposal, Bid, Information, etc.
- Coordinating and transferring client and account knowledge to another Sales or Client Services team member upon won business.
- Recording all touchpoints in the CRM system.
- Staying updated on RRD product knowledge and industry insights.
- Analyzing and filtering account/prospect data to build individual forecasts and sales strategies
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software (preferred)
- Creative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience working collaboratively with other individuals and departments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and adjust to business needs
B2B Sales Experience Preferred
The national pay range is $37,800 to $67,400/year. Pay may vary based on location.
Total compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or incentives.
