Job Details

This Canadian-based Inside Sales Representative role supports both Canadian and U.S. customs clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing high volumes of inbound and outbound customer communications, ensuring service quality and resolving issues promptly.
  • Coordinating with customers, maintaining client profiles, and cultivating strong relationships through regular communication.
  • Assisting with product and service inquiries.
  • Developing action plans to prevent future issues.
  • Managing customer correspondence.
  • Supporting the team to improve margins and finalize rate requests.
  • Up-selling services.
  • Ensuring correct setup of new accounts.
  • Contributing to client business reviews by monitoring and analyzing activity.
  • Exceeding client expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to a high volume of inbound inquiries via phone, email, chat, text, and WhatsApp, maintaining service quality and performance standards.
  • Qualifying leads and triaging inquiries.
  • Guiding prospective clients through onboarding and customs documentation.
  • Reviewing and organizing submitted documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining proactive communication to support retention and strengthen relationships.
  • Preparing contracts, updating client profiles, managing correspondence and transactions.
  • Escalating time-sensitive or problematic cases.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Supporting Client Business Reviews.
  • Monitoring online chat interactions.
  • Providing administrative support.

Skills required include:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English.
  • Ability to assess client needs and position service solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask.
  • Proven team player with a positive, self-motivated attitude.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and CRM platforms.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and eager to learn.
